I would recommend you to check out ProCompare.com (http://procompare.com/top/notebooks). They have a recommendation engine that ranks laptops and other tech products based on ratings and reviews from a community of trusted IT professionals. They also have a cool personalization slider that lets you personalize the results based on the criteria that are most important to YOU.

Please specify if it is mandatory for your netbook to have a Windows Operating System or not.
This item plays a critical role on the price.
I say MSI Wind U100.
I am actually quite surprised that not a lot of people know about this netbook. Well, it’s pretty new and only sells on Amazon.
It has a 10" LCD screen, goes up to 9-cell battery which lasts at least 8-9 hours, 120-160 gb HDD and the one I’m eyeing is only $330. It’s cheaper than Acer or Asus but does not sacrifice quality.
It’s probably the only netbook out there that can support Photoshop and play games on.
The operating system is Windows, but I’ve heard that the Wind is very easy to hack and a lot of buyers installed Mac or Linux with the Windows. It’s pretty much a laptop replacement.
