Hi all. I got a new laptop battery for my toshiba laptop last week. Its a 9 cell and it lasts 2 hours and 10 mins. My old one lasts just under that and its 7 months old. Im sure this is not normal cause my old battery is only a 6-cell and is rated half as powerful as this one. Isnt it supposed to last longer?
Thanks

I am currently customizing a Dell XPS 1330 laptop which I am getting because I want a compact laptop with great battery life, performance and decent gaming ability. I got the 4 GB RAM, the NVIDIA graphics card and the 9 cell battery. However, the 9 cell battery increases laptop size as stated on the site. By how much is it increased? And will I be better off getting the 15 inch model?

I mean in terms of how long it’ll last for before I’ll have to buy a new one.
My current laptop battery is only a year and a half old and lasts just 20 minutes on a full charge. It’s a 6 cell. The 9 cell is only more, so if’ll last longer than a year and a half it might be worth it.

I have to give a presentation, but so far the projector at my school has been hooked up to laptops or computers that have a screen with an aspect ratio of 4:3, I’m using my mom’s laptop to present and the screen’s ratio is 16:9. The projector isn’t new, but its not really old either (maybe 1-4 years old). Will the image be squished, or do you think the projector will have a setting to adjust to the laptop?

Ok, I am wondering if there was a way to install adobe 9 on the school laptop. We all get our own laptop to take home and carry around, and some videos won’t display without adobe 9. Can someone help me?
P.S. I don’t want to watch videos at school, just at home.
I know u need administrator privelleges, but i am still wondering if it is possible to bypass it or something.

I need a new laptop with a 9-pin serial port, in order to plug in a .wav pedal to listen to sounds. I have an old Dell, but many newer laptops don’t seem to have this 9-pin female port for my pedal, and a USB conversion jack has not worked. Am I doomed to an antique laptop?

I have a dell Inspiron 910, and i need to replace the clock battery, but I can’t find anything that looks like a battery inside the laptop. Where would the battery be, and would it be in the bottom or the middle layer of the netbook?

When I turn on music, the laptop is so quiet like barely any music is played at all, why?
Was there something wrong with it or is this normal?

I’m using one of those big 9 cell batteries with my Acer Aspire One laptop and am looking for a good protective case that it will fit in. Most cases say they will only fit 3 & 6 cell batteries. Any suggestions?
