My company tracks my online activities, I wander what is the best ways to check private email such as gmail, hotmail, yahoo mail, etc. at work without getting caught?

I also understand using web anonymous or proxy anonymous software does not help. All online URLs are tracked and recorded before it reaches the proxy server.

I am thinking getting some kind of small device that I can bring to the office daily and check my private email without going through the company ISP. What is the cheapest device I can get that allow me to check web-browser based emails and perhaps shop online?

I think of getting a small laptop and subscribe the wireless broadband services, but the laptop seems like too big to bring to office daily. I also thinking of getting an I-Phone, but the reviews was bad at the time of this writing. Any suggestion?

What would be the best mini laptop to buy?

i no theres acer and hp and dell but i dont no which one is the best does anyone have any suggestions? anyone that has any of these laptops?

The right laptop for my old mum?

I’m in the UK. Need to get a laptop for my mum, who has a respiratory condition so cant carry anything heavy. She is using it to give DVD and powerpoint presentations to local churches and groups. She doesnt drive so will need to carry it around on public transport and walk.

Here are the criteria:
Light, ideally sub 2kg (she cant carry heavy things)
Reliable (she’s not technical, and I live in a different town)
Good sized screen (eyesight not good for a small screen)
Ideally simple playback buttons for the DVD (some laptop keyboards have separate buttons)
Not too pricey (up to £700)

a) Is there a model you’d reccomend?
b) Is there a really good website that would review the options?

You know the really small laptops with a 8.9" screen, which one’s the best in terms of:
-most memory
-has all parts (because I saw one without the cd/dvd drive)
Can you please tell me why?
I’m planning on buying one for school stuff.

The new company that took over my division just sent out an email that we are no longer allowed to use our laptops for personal usage even though we normally do 12 hour days. Next week they are going to "review" our laptops for non company usage. I have been using the laptop to run a small Ebay biz on the side. I have deleted my word and excel documents and cookies but I’ve heard that they are still files and internet traces that they can find. I need this job, please help.

The Ultra Mobile PC is a cool platform, arguably an industry changing shift which will allow laptop perforance in a pocket sized device. The small size and different interfaces will present challenged to application designers, including agame developers. This podcast, delivered by Sr. Intel Application Engineer, Sateesh Subramanian, dives down into some of the challenges game developers will face as well as suggested responses. As usual, we invite your response. Are you a game developer? Have you wresatled with this or other smaller interfaces? Let us know what you think.

So after so many requests for another video, and now that I can actually play my guitar I decided to post another video. Now the problem is I have no one to sing with and I REALLY can’t sing so I decided to post a guitar lesson instead. That way you can have me, my amazing guitar playing (yeah right…xd) and still learn something out of it. I tried my best so please don’t be mean to me, there’s no need to…

What Laptop to get?

I am Deciding on which laptop to get. I have a budget of about 1200$. The two computers i am looking at right now are the apple macbook and the Dell XPS 1520. The Dell comes with Vista and i would have to buy windowsxp because i really don’t like vista. On the other hand i find the macbook to small and very expensive for the components it comes with. If anyone has any other suggestions for another laptop or a review of some sort on these two laptops that would be appreciated.
